THE FEDERAL EXECUTIVE OF AIDEF HELD ITS TWO DAYS SESSION - ON 2.10.2008 and 3.10.2008 - IN MUMBAI.

Many decisions were taken in the Executive and AIDEF has announced with greatness of this issue given below...
Permission given to fill up vacancies in Industrial Employees and NGO(Technical) Categories by Government. In the year 2000, the Central Government introduced a new order for filling up of vacancies in Government establishments called ADRP (ANNUAL DIRECT RECUITMENT PLAN).

According to the new order, two third of the emerging vacancies will be abolished and only one third of the vacancies to be filled up. After it came in to effect, nearly 16 percent of the vacancies has been abolished in the last 8 years. This particular order was a huge disappointment to the unemployed. In ordnance factories the aftermath of this order was discussed in various levels of meetings. To increase defence production, the side effects of ADRP was discussed and the result was taken to our Defence Minister. After verifying the points, he recommended to the cabinet secretary to exempt Employees of Ordnance Factories from ADRP. The secretary of DOP&T recommended to exempt Ordnance Employees with some changes. According to that, the committee agreed to fill up vacancies only in the technical categories of IEs and NGO(T) and not in the non-technical categories of NIEs and NGO(NT). As per this recommendations, all technical vacancies in Ordnance Factories will be maintained and approximately 3700 vacancies will be filled up infuture.

NIEs and NGO Non-Technical categories are also expecting the exemption from ADRP in the near future. In addition to this, employees in MES – DEPO – DGQA – AIRFORCE are also expecting the same.
